Schmitt named E2openÆs VP of marketing
E2open, a provider of cloud-based supply chain management systems, has appointed Michael Schmitt to senior vice president of marketing.
In this role, Schmitt will be responsible for managing the marketing communications, product marketing, and sales development internationally and will report directly to Mark Woodward, E2open's chief executive officer.
Schmitt was senior vice president of West area sales, Mitratech Holdings. Previously, he served as chief marketing officer for Ariba and senior vice president of sales and marketing for JD Edwards.
