Previously, Palmieri was managing director of transportation and logistics investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston.
Palmieri will have responsibility for both Schneider Finance, an affiliate of Schneider National specializing in commercial financing and leasing of transportation equipment, and for Schneider Logistics Payment Services, the freight payment services unit of Schneider National. He will report to Chris Lofgren, president and chief executive officer of Schneider National, which is based in Green Bay, Wisc.
