Sea Star awards college business scholarships
Sea Star Line has awarded its annual Endowed Scholarship at the University of North Florida's Coggin College of Business to Jacobo Romo-Barajas, a junior, and Lauren Delbovo, a sophomore, both from the college's transportation and logistics program.
Sea Star endowed the scholarship in 2005. Each year the scholarship is awarded to students in the College of Business who declare a major in either business administration, marketing, international business, or transportation and logistics.
'UNF's Coggin College of Business attracts a talented group of students and then equips them with the knowledge and skills to make an impact,' Sea Star president and chief operating officer Frank Peake said. 'We are fortunate to have such high quality programs essentially at our doorstep, very pleased with our decision to establish the Sea Star Endowed Scholarship, and delighted at the opportunity to lend support to Jacobo and Lauren as they pursue their goals.'
