Sea Star said that as its own fuel costs decrease, it is able to pass the saving onto its customers. The bunker fuel charge will decrease from $355 to $330 for 20-foot containers, from $395 to $365 for 40- and 45-foot containers, and from $420 to $395 for 48- and 53-foot containers. The charge for automobiles will go from $160 to $145. Other self-propelled or towable units will decrease from $315 to $290. The unit charges for breakbulk cargo will decrease from $125 to $115.
