SEAMASTER ACQUIRES HARRINGTON, MARINE SHIP AGENCIES
Seamaster Ship Agencies, based in London, has expanded its North American agency operations by acquiring two South Atlantic agencies: Marine Ship Agencies Inc., and Harrington Ship Agencies Inc.
Mariner Ship Agencies has offices in Charleston, S.C.; Savannah and Brunswick, Ga.; and Jacksonville, Fla.
Harrington is based in Miami and has operations in Miami and Port Everglades.
Both agency networks now carry the Seamaster name.
Gary Lear has assumed regional responsibilities for the U.S. operations. He is based in Charleston.
Seamaster is the independent agency division of Vlasov Services Corp. Besides the U.S., Seamaster has operations in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Mideast.
