Sears Logistics Services extends regional delivery areas    Sears Logistics Service, a unit of Sears, Roebuck & Co., a major U.S. retailer, has contracted with TNT Logistics North America, a provider of supply chain services, for TNT to deliver home appliances to residential construction customers in Nashville, Tenn., and Royersford, Pa. Altogether, TNT Logistics North America now handles 23 regional home delivery operations for Sears Logistics Services.
   The Sears unit is the single point of contact for all logistical activities at Sears, Roebuck and Co., responsible for the shipment of wearing apparel, appliances, home furnishings, hardware, automotive and repair parts for 2,300 Sears-branded and affiliated stores in the U.S. and Canada, as well as home deliveries. Sears, Roebuck had revenues of $41.1 billion in 2003.
   TNT Logistics, the parent company of TNT Logistics North America, has 37,000 employees in 36 countries, managing 70 million square feet of warehouse space. TNT Logistics North America is based in Jacksonville, Fla.
