SEKO expands in New York, Virginia
Freight forwarding and logistics company SEKO said it has expanded an upstate New York office in Rochester, N.Y., to accommodate growing business.
The Itaska, Ill.-based company said growth has come in large part from customers with medical, pharmaceutical and other high-tech industries.
SEKO said the office experienced a 50 percent increase in international export and import shipping services, including ground and air services for its clients
The company also said it has opened a new office in Norfolk, Va., primarily aimed at serving southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.
SEKO Norfolk’s managing directors said the company plans to expand with a new office in Richmond, Va., within the next year.
