SEKO Logistics acquires Metakinetic

SEKO’s purchase of the e-commerce agency will further increase its retail offerings.    Making a push to be an all-service provider for retail customers, SEKO Logistics has purchased an equity stake in Metakinetic, an e-commerce agency. The new acquisition will be part of SEKO’s Red Hot Penny division.
   According to SEKO, the division will now focus on shippers of luxury goods and fashion brands. Red Hot Penny already has a client list populated by Rolex and other high-end brands.
   “We are at the beginning of a new chapter for our business, which has historically been all about the technology,” Darren Bull, a co-founder of Metakinetic and the managing director of Red Hot Penny, said in a statement. “Combining our passion for tech with Red Hot Penny’s unrivaled creative expertise and SEKO’s logistics offering means that we are providing something quite unique in the industry.”
