SEKO Worldwide expands U.K. operations

SEKO Worldwide expands U.K. operations

SEKO Worldwide has opened its second office in United Kingdom’s Manchester industrial hub.

The Itasca, Ill.-based company said the move allows it to tap into the United Kingdom’s electronics and pharmaceutical businesses. Mike Leonard, formerly of Fritz Cos. and S. Black Shipping, will oversee SEKO’s Manchester operations.

“This area is importing thousands of TEUs and substantial airfreight tonnage annually, and the Manchester airport has been selected by many airlines as the place to increase their services in the U.K., as opposed to the congested London airports,” Leonard said.
