Shipco names Rowell San Francisco GM
Shipco Transport has appointed Kristie Rowell to general manager of its San Francisco office.
In this position, she will focus on developing the neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier's direct services from the Port of Oakland and its air cargo service throughout the San Francisco area, including northern California, Utah and Reno, Nev.
Rowell has more than 19 years of experience in global sales, operations and compliance management in the logistics and transportation industry.
Shipco is a subsidiary of Scan-Group, an international shipping and transportation company based in Copenhagen, with more than 1,500 employees in owned offices worldwide. The company is also a founding member of the WorldWide Alliance, an association of NVOs.
