Shipco opens in Guangzhou

Shipco opens in Guangzhou    Non-vessel-operating common carrier Shipco Transport has opened a new operations office in Guangzhou, China.
   The office handles import and export less-than-containerload and full-containerload ocean freight as well as import and export air freight.
   Guangzhou is located at the center of three major rivers in South China. 'A local presence allows us to clearly understand the regions in which we develop and invest resources in. It also presents Shipco opportunities to capitalize on possibilities wherever they may arise,' said Sune Simonsen, the NVO's regional director for Asia Pacific, in a statement.
   Shipco is a subsidiary of Scan-Group, an international shipping and transportation company based in Copenhagen, Denmark, with more than 2,000 employees in own offices worldwide.
