SHIPLOGIX NAMES THREE TO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM

   ShipLogix has named three transportation and logistics veterans to its business development team. The Hudson, Ohio-based company provides a Web-based transportation management software system for shippers, carriers, third-party providers and business-to-business marketplaces.

   Dennis Koziol and Wayne Chapman were named vice president, business development for the Midwest and West, respectively. Stephanie Shearer has joined the company as director of business development.

   Koziol, an 18-year veteran with North American Van Lines, held various sales and operational management positions, including vice president of sales for the relocation services division, vice president of corporate planning and vice president and general manager of specialized transportation services. He is based in Chicago.

   Chapman, a 28-year industry veteran. was senior vice president for Skyway Freight Systems. Previously he spend nine years with Caliber Logistics (now FedEx Logistics) as vice president, logistics operations and vice president, alliances and international development. He also was vice president, operations and sales for Leaseway Transportation Corp. He is based in northern California.

   Shearer spent 19 years with North American Van Lines, serving in the positions of assistant vice president of strategic planning and customized logistics services, as well as director of business development, high value products division.
