Singapore adds Kensai link for electronic cargo
Singapore Airlines Cargo said Friday it is adding a twice-weekly freighter service from Singapore to Kensai, Japan, via Hong Kong from May to October.
The service is intended to complement belly-hold capacity on daily passenger services between Singapore to Kensai.
'The Kansai region is home to many manufacturing bases of LCD panels, semiconductors, solar battery panels and lithium-ion batteries,' the airline said in a statement.
The service will be operated with Boeing 747-400 freighters and will run through Oct. 29.
