Singapore Airlines starts Nairobi cargo service

Singapore Airlines has started a weekly cargo service to Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, becoming the airline’s fourth city in Africa and the 75th destination worldwide.

   The service uses a Boeing 747-400 aircraft and has a full itinerary of Singapore, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Brussels, Johannesburg, and back to Singapore.

   “We look forward to serving the people of Kenya by providing trade links not only between our two countries but also between South East Asia, South West Pacific and other key markets,” said Zainul Aljunied, Singapore Airlines Cargo’s vice president for the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan and Turkey.
