SKYNET TO ACQUIRE PONY EXPRESS

   Skynet Holdings Inc., the Los Angeles-based express carrier, has agreed
to acquire Pony Express Delivery Services Inc., based in Atlanta.
   Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Skynet hopes to complete
the transaction this summer.
   The acquisition will expand Skynet’s delivery capabilities in the West,
Midwest and Great Lakes regions.
   Pony Express, founded in 1860, is one of the largest ground-delivery
service providers in the U.S. with annual revenue topping $100 million.
   Skynet, which specializes in time-sensitive services, reported revenue
of $55 million for the most recent 12-month period.
   Pony Express will be integrated with Fleet Delivery Service, the Las
Vegas-based courier company Skynet acquired in March, Skynet said.
