   Amsterdam-based air cargo trucking company Rutges Cargo, has appointed John Sloot as its station manager for France.
   Sloot join Rutges from Capitol International, located in Paris. At Rutges, he will lead the development of its air cargo, security and temperature-controlled products.
   Last year, Rutges won the exclusive contract to provide daily road transport services to and from the Netherlands for Air France Cargo and now operates five to 10 truck movements a day on the Paris/Amsterdam corridor.
   “Our air cargo business in France is already strong and we will now develop our security and temperature-controlled products to match the growth in these services we are experiencing elsewhere in Europe,” said Jason Breakwell, Rutges’ commercial manager.
   The company said it plans to recruit further operational and business development staff in France to support its expansion plans and will relocate its operations in that country to on-airport premises at Paris’ Charles De Galle airport.
