Small Oregon port joins APP

The Port of Umatilla in Oregon said it has joined the Association of Pacific Ports.

The port, opened in 1940, includes portions of two interstate highways, a major railroad switch yard, and a new modern full-service Columbia River maritime facility equipped to handle containers, grain, petroleum, and project cargo. The port also operates a public marina, boat launch, and recreational vehicle park.
