Softship releases new applications for liner carriers

The software provider’s new application is intended to help carriers and agencies with capacity planning, bunker consumption, and scheduled location versus actual location.    The liner shipping software provider Softship said last week that it has released a new set of solutions for ocean carrier operations.
   The new package includes applications to track the impact of vessel delays and schedule changes on bunker consumption, compare actual vessel locations to scheduled positions, and check load factors and available capacity at a glance.
   The software, VOYCES PRO, is delivered off-the-shelf and customized for individual customers. The new release is intended to build on Softship’s existing VOYCES scheduling software for liner operators and agents.
