Sony selects Kuehne + Nagel for Mexican warehousing, distribution
Sony Electronics has awarded a three-year contract to Kuehne + Nagel to manage the warehousing and distribution of its products in Mexico.
Kuehne + Nagel Mexico will dedicate about 40,000 square meters of warehouse space to Sony at its distribution center in Tepotzotl'n, located north of Mexico City.
The Swiss-owned forwarding and logistics services provider has established a verification unit responsible for ensuring Sony products’ compliance with Mexican regulations. Value-added services that Kuehne + Nagel Mexico will provide include inserting Spanish literature, repacking, labeling, and product configuration, among others.
