Source Consulting offers new TMS

   Source Consulting, which cut its teeth on in-house transportation cost management services, is now offering cloud-based transportation management systems, called Intelliship and HALO.
   Both will be deployed as software-as-a-service (SaaS) models designed to streamline different transportation processes with a focus on reduced costs and improved efficiency.
   Luke Kupersmith, president of Source Consulting, said the company is specifically targeting high-volume shippers with the new services.
   Intelliship offers enterprise-wide, multi-carrier shipping and manifesting service, which the company says is best for frequent shippers. The service is built to be easy to use with its rate-shopping engine allowing users to automate decision making around mode, carrier, and service level.
   HALO, which can be used in tandem with Intelliship or as a standalone technology, is a multi-carrier, multi-mode visibility system that provides a centralized information hub for shipments in-transit. The company said HALO manages information received from carriers and personnel and has built-in checks to identify any shipments that require attention.
   HALO has a management dashboard that provides real-time transportation metrics and with the ability to fill pre-built reports and generate custom ones based on user-defined metrics. HALO is accessible through computers, smartphones, and various tablets.
