SOUTH SEAS STEAMSHIP MOVES PACIFIC NORTHWEST REPRESENTATION IN-HOUSE

    South Seas Steamship Line, the U.S./South Pacific islands niche
operator owned by the Hamburg-Sud group, is ending its agency agreement to bring its U.S.
Pacific Northwest agency operations in-house, effective Dec. 1.
    Sunrise Shipping previously represented the carrier in the U.S.Pacific
Northwest region.
    South Seas Steamship said customer service functions for customers in
the region will now be handled via the company’s headquarters offices in San Francisco.
    South Seas Steamship provides fortnightly sailings linking the West
Coast North America with Tahiti, Tonga, American Samoa and Samoa.
