SOUTHEASTERN, CENTRAL FREIGHT ENTER ALLIANCE
Southeastern Freight Lines, the Columbia, S.C.-based less-than-truckload carrier, has expanded its services into the Southwest and West Coast through an alliance with Central Freight Lines, based in Waco, Texas.
Through its Single System Service, Southeastern has entered into alliances with Central Freight, A. Duie Pyle Inc. in the Northeast, Crouse Cartage Co. in the Midwest, Oak Harbor Freight Lines in the Northwest, and Quik X Transportation throughout Canada.
Through the alliances, the LTL carrier serves 46 states, Puerto Rico and Canada.
