SPANISH AIRPORT AUTHORITY ACQUIRES L-3 DETECTION DEVICES
Aeropuertos Espanoles y Navegacion Aerea (AENA), the airport authority of Spain, has contracted with L-3 Communications, a New York-based provider of surveillance products, for 13 explosive detection systems.
AENA ordered L-3’s VIS108 in-line, automated Level 1 detection unit, capable of screening 1,800 bags or pallets an hour.
