Spicy deal for Hanson Logistics

Spicy deal for Hanson Logistics McCormick & Co. has selected St. Joseph, Mich.-based Hanson Logistics to provide logistics management services for McCormick's leading industrial restaurant chain clients.
   Hanson will service the account from its Benton Harbor, Mich., Logistics Center, where it said it has made extensive improvements to meet the quality standards McCormick's customers require. McCormick had annual sales last year of $2.9 billion.
   Hanson Logistics is providing services such as inventory management on product arriving from McCormick's plants in South Bend, Ind., and Hunt Valley, Md., and transportation services, including local truckload and shuttle services. Hanson ships McCormick's product to food service distribution centers across the United States.
