The ship, owned and operated by Star Shipping of Bergen, Norway and represented by General Steamship Corporation of Portland, Ore., arrived from Pohang, South Korea to discharge a shipment of wind tower sections for Siemens Power Generation.
The 'Star Java,' a 649.6-foot-long general cargo vessel, was built by Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., in Tamano, Japan.
