Star Shipping vessel collides with tanker outside Boulogne, France    The open-hatch vessel “Star Herdla” and the 35,159-deadweight-ton tanker “Cape Bradley” were Thursday involved in a collision just outside Boulogne in France.
   The accident occurred at 07.15 GMT and no injuries, pollution nor water intake has been reported by either ship.
   The “Star Herdla” is operated by Norway’s Star Shipping between Europe and ports in the U.S. East and Gulf coasts.
   Star Shipping said the vessel suffered an electrical failure due to the collision, but no cargo is reported as damaged. A tug has been contracted to tow the vessel into Boulogne, when the import cargo to Europe can be discharged in Boulogne and Bremen.
