State plans biofuels conference    Seeking to boost Florida's fledgling biofuels industry, Florida Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Charles H. Bronson will host a 'Farm to Fuel” summit July 18-20 in St. Petersburg.
   “There has been a good deal of momentum recently in our drive to get this industry off the ground,” Bronson said. “We’re eager to share that with participants and provide them with the information they need to enter this industry.'
   State officials see biofuels as an opportunity for farmers, ports and transportation companies. State and federal officials have been working to increase imports of ethanol from South America, Central America and the Caribbean islands, with Florida ports serving as both an import gateway and location for biofuel refining and distribution facilities.
   Florida also hopes to develop outbound markets for biofuel products, both throughout the United States and in other countries.
