STB upgrades Web site for industry convenience

STB upgrades Web site for industry convenience    The U.S. Surface Transportation Board has redesigned and upgraded its Web site.
   In a statement, STB chief Roger Nober said he ordered the changes “after I heard from numerous stakeholders that our existing site was difficult to use and outdated.”
   Nober added it’s one of his top priorities to “make more agency information available to the public in an understandable and user-friendly format, and this redesigned Web site is a major step in that direction.”
   Some of the Web site’s improved features include:
   * Enhanced document search capability.
   * “E-filing,” or the ability for parties to make board filings electronically.
   * Live and archived audio of all board proceedings.
   The STB’s Web site may be accessed at https://www.stb.dot.gov.
