Stellar Freight moves to Port Canaveral Stellar Freight Ltd. has moved its service from South Florida to Port Canaveral.
   The line, which specializes in export of equipment and project cargoes to the Eastern Mediterranean, Black Sea and the Balkans, will export its first shipment of about 20 yachts from Port Canaveral to Greece the first week of April.
   'This is our first eastbound shipment from Port Canaveral, a test shipment, but based on our past experience here, we are looking forward to making Port Canaveral our East Coast U.S. load port,' said John Sfingopoulos of Stellar.

Stellar Freight's Captain P, a 492-foot general cargo ship, is scheduled to arrive at Port Canaveral during the first week of April.

   Ambassador Services is the terminal operator and will provide stevedoring for Stellar.
   'While this is a test shipment, Stellar Freight has the potential to expand to more frequent calls and to cargoes beyond yachts,' said Stan Payne, chief executive officer for Port Canaveral, in a statement.
