Suan steps down at OOCL parent
Robert Hcheun Suan, a relative of the Tung shipowning family, has stepped down as executive director of Hong Kong-based Orient Overseas (International) Ltd., parent company of container shipping line OOCL.
Orient Overseas (International) Ltd. said Suan retired Friday but has not announced a successor to Suan.
Suan had been in charge of Orient Overseas (International) Ltd.’s property development activities in Shanghai, a non-core business of the company.
The remaining executive directors of Orient Overseas (International) Ltd. are C.C. Tung, Philip Chow, T.R. Chang and Nicholas Simms.
