Summit Global Logistics names Huang to lead Asia Pacific Region
Kenilworth, N.J.-based Summit Global Logistics Inc. has appointed Jerry Huang as managing director for the Asia Pacific region.
Huang will lead and direct all operations, sales, marketing and pricing throughout Asia and will be based out of Summit’s office in Hong Kong.
He comes to Summit with over 20 years of ocean and non-vessel-operating common carrier experience, most recently as managing director of Hecny Shipping Ltd.
Robert A. Agresti, Summit’s president and chief executive officer, said the appointment “coincides with our May 1 grand opening in Shanghai, and sets the stage for our penetration of the Asia markets, which are integral to our global growth strategy.”
Huang “is a perfect fit to our organization, and well-known throughout Asia and the NVO market,” he added.
