Swan & Hercules buys GP Logistics    Swan & Hercules Global Logistics has acquired GP Logistics, an ocean and air freight services provider operating in the Australia-New Zealand market.
   'The broad footprint and mature network in North America and Australia-New Zealand that GP brings, coupled with our trucking assets and extensive freight forwarding footprint in China, puts us in a unique global position,' said John Boultier, Swan & Hercules Global Logistics' president and chief executive officer, in a statement.
   GP provides a platform for Swan & Hercules to support the needs of small and large shippers seeking a full range of supply chain services that reduce costs and increase clients' profit potential. The acquisition expands SHGL's customer base by more than 2,000 and adds 50,000 square feet in North American consolidation space.
