Swearingen returns to Mitsubishi as VP of Fixed Operations

Swearingen returns to Mitsubishi as VP of Fixed Operations Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. has said Don Swearingen, former vice president of parts, will return to the company Feb. 20 as vice president of fixed operations.
   Swearingen was vice president of parts supply and logistics for Kia Motors. In his new position, Swearingen will be responsible for MMNA’s parts and service operations in the United States, reporting to Hiroshi Harunari, president and chief executive officer.
   Prior to his brief tenure at Kia, Swearingen had supervised parts operations at MMNA for more than 16 years — including serving as director of parts from October 1999, until he was promoted to vice president of parts in September 2004.
