Swiss WorldCargo signs ULD management over to Jettainer    Swiss WorldCargo has outsourced the global management of its unit load devices to fellow Lufthansa subsidiary Jettainer.
   Under the terms of the five-year contract, which will start Nov. 1, Jettainer will take over the airline's entire unit load device (ULD) fleet and the provision of day-to-day management services such as worldwide tracking and tracing, active inventory management, repairs and management reporting.
   Jettainer is a joint venture of Lufthansa Cargo and mobile asset management company TrenStar Inc.
   'The new agreement represents the latest step in the cooperation between Lufthansa Cargo and Swiss WorldCargo whereby synergies are captured wherever there are customer benefits,' Swiss WorldCargo said in a statement.
