T. Parker Host expands in U.S. Gulf

   T. Parker Host has purchased all the outstanding shares of NSA Agencies, adding offices in Houston; New Orleans; Mobile, Ala.; and Tampa, Fla.

NSA Agencies (successor to Navios Ship Agency) will now become part of the T. Parker Host group. George Duffy has led NSA for more than 30 years, and T. Parker Host has retained him along with the rest of the existing management and employees. Adam Anderson will succeed Duffy as NSA’s president, but will remain in Norfolk, Va.

“We’re expanding the unique agency package provided on the East Coast to the U.S. Gulf, to include not only traditional ship agency, but freight forwarding, reporting, supervision and logistical support services as well,” said David Host, president and chief executive officer of T. Parker Host.

The Host group of companies has grown to include more than 100 employees in 14 locations.
