TACA CUTS BUNKER RATE; NO CHANGE WITH USSED
The Trans-Atlantic Conference Agreement said Thursday it will reduce the bunker adjustment factor published in TACA’s tariffs, effective Jan. 1.
For U.S. Atlantic and Gulf Coast ports, the new rates will be $47 per 20-foot containers and $94 per 40 and 45-foot containers.
For U.S. Pacific Coast ports, the new rates will be $71 per 20-foot container and $142 per 40 and 45-foot containers.
The United States South Europe Conference said Thursday its quarterly eastbound and westbound bunker adjustment factor will remain unchanged at the present published level through March 31.
The continuing rates are $71 per 20-foot container, $142 per 40-footer and six percent for all other cargo.
