TACA lines reaffirm westbound rate increases
Shipping lines of the Trans-Atlantic Rate Agreement have reaffirmed their plan to raise westbound rates $400 per 20-foot container and $500 per 40- or 45-foot box, effective April 1.
In a statement, the conference said 2004 market conditions will be similar to those of 2003, and carriers are experiencing a “high level of forward bookings.”
