TACA TO RAISE FUEL SURCHARGE
Carriers of the Trans-Atlantic Conference Agreement said they will raise their fuel surcharges, due to the escalation of U.S. inland transport fuel prices.
The surcharge for containers moving by rail mode will be 5 percent, and containers moving all road or road/rail mode will be 10 percent, effective May 15.
