TALBOTS PICKS DENNISON SCAN-AND-PACK SOFTWARE    Talbots, a specialty retailer of women’s apparel, has selected software from Avery Dennison InfoChain Express for scanning and packing goods to customers globally.
   InfoChain Express is the name of the software and the company producing it, which is a division of Avery Dennison Retail Information Services.
   Talbots, which operates 838 stores, said it will use the solution as a platform on which to communicate and interact automatically with supply chain partners, including vendors and production plants.
   Avery Dennison InfoChain Express, which has offices in 39 countries, also provides sequential barcode tagging, electronic article surveillance tags and labels, and consulting services.
