Taylor named VP of sales for Americas Systems
Americas Systems has named Colin R. Taylor senior vice president of marketing and sales.
Prior to joining Americas Systems, Taylor worked 18 years in various management roles with Schlumberger, a global oilfield and information services company. He most recently served as SchlumbergerSema’s general manager for network and infrastructure solutions.
Americas Systems, based in Morristown, N.J., is a developer of logistics management systems for shippers.
“There is still a considerable gap between the information systems of the transportation industry and the enterprise systems used by the importers and exporters to fine tune their operations,” Taylor said in a statement. “We expect to fill that gap.”
