The ship, to be renamed Oneida Princess, is a 1998 built, 23,510 dwt vessel and the company expects delivery in January.
This purchase and three pending deals will boost the fleet of Yonkers, N.Y.-based TBS to 37 vessels, with an aggregate capacity of 1.1 million dwt. TBS's fleet includes 20 multipurpose tweendeckers and a combination of 17 handysize and handymax bulk carriers.
