TDS Logistics, Walsh Western merge

TDS Logistics, Walsh Western merge TDS Logistics of Atlanta and Dublin, Ireland’s Walsh Western International have signed a merger agreement.
   According to the Irish Independent, Walsh Western paid $350 million for TDS. The combined companies will reportedly have revenues of about $700 million and about 9,000 employees.
   TDS is a leader in automotive logistics while Walsh Western has many high tech accounts including Apple, Dell, Epson, and Hewlett Packard.
