TEAMSTERS TALKS RECONVENE AFTER TRUCKERSÆ STRIKE VOTE
Collective bargaining negotiations between the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and representatives of ABF, Roadway Express, USF Holland and Yellow resumed Wednesday in Chicago after a 95-percent strike authorization vote by freight Teamsters was announced earlier this week.
Negotiations for a new National Master Freight Agreement had broken off over economic issues. The Teamsters’ present contract, covering 65,000 drivers, expires March 31.
