Teamsters win labor agreement from USF Reddaway    The International Brotherhood of Teamsters union has won a tentative agreement covering newly organized USF Reddaway workers in Arizona, California and New Mexico.
   The agreement covers about 425 workers at seven former USF Bestway terminals in the three western states. Formerly based in Arizona, USF Bestway has since been absorbed by USF Reddaway.
   The five-year agreement raises the covered workers’ health and welfare benefits, eliminates a co-pay for health coverage, improves vacation time, provides a safety bonus incentive plan and provides card-check recognition as spelled out in the union’s National Master Freight Agreement.
   The new deal brings the total workers represented by the Teamsters to about 1,600 of the 2,800-strong USF Reddaway workforce.
   Clackamas, Ore.-based USF Reddaway services 15 states and two western Canadian provinces. The road carrier is a subsidiary of Overland Park, Kan.-based YRC Worldwide Inc., also the parent of road carriers Yellow Transportation, New Penn, and Roadway.
