Terrier elected to IAPH executive committee

The International Association of Ports & Harbors has elected Jean-Claude Terrier, managing director of the Port of Dunkirk Authority, to its executive committee.

The IAPH, which comprises 353 members from 87 different countries, represents the interests of ports and harbors at world organizations such as the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and International Maritime Organization.

Terrier’s candidacy was supported by the French Port Authorities, the Direction des Transports Maritimes, Routiers et Fluviaux (DTMRF) and the short-sea lobby group BP2S.

“Terrier will actively defend the interests of ports in general and of those of the Europe/Africa area in particular,” according to the Port of Dunkirk Authority.
