Beachcombers quickly gathered up the bags of salty snacks, which were contained in one of four boxes that washed off a Great White Fleet containership headed from Wilmington, Del., to Costa Rica, on Thanksgiving, reports the Virginia Pilot newspaper.
The Coast Guard asked mariners to keep an eye out for the other three containers, which got a reporter at the Pilot wondering if it might contain the dip.
