The Datamyne appoints McCahill to CEO

The Datamyne appoints McCahill to CEO    The Datamyne, a database of international trade information, has appointed Brendan R. McCahill to chief executive officer.
   McCahill, who was executive vice president, succeeds Pablo Milburn, who has returned to the head office in Montevideo, Uruguay, after a three-year assignment in Miami.
   McCahill's industry experience spans nearly four decades. Prior to joining The Datamyne, he was president of PIERS. He previously served as vice president of sales for Hanjin Shipping Co., president of Gulf and Atlantic Maritime Services, and executive vice president of Associated Container Transportation/PACE Line.
   The Datamyne collects trade records from 43 countries including the United States, Latin America, Asia and the European Union. The data helps users gain insight into sourcing from other countries, monitor shifts in domestic and global demand for materials and merchandise and stay informed of global market trends, the company said.
