Thomson Reuters, KPMG partner on Latin America trade compliance

KPMG becomes first certified implementer of Thomas Reuters’ compliance technology in the region.    Thomson Reuters and KPMG said Wednesday they will join forces to offer services and technology to help companies moving goods across borders in Latin America comply with trade and customs regulations.
   The announcement follows Thomson Reuters’ recent acquisition of Softway, a global trade management software solution provider in Latin America. KPMG is the first member of Thomson Reuters’ so-called Certified Implementer Program for the Softway global trade management suite.
