Three dead at Alabama UPS facility

A recently fired worker shot and killed two supervisors Tuesday morning.    Two UPS employees and a former employee were fatally shot Tuesday morning at a UPS facility near Birmingham, Ala., according to the integrator.
   The former employee had recently been terminated by the company. According to local news reports, the employee, who had been fired on Monday, shot and killed two of his supervisors before killing himself.
   “The safety of our employees is our primary focus, and UPS is cooperating fully with law enforcement,” UPS said in a statement. “Our focus now is on assisting the families of the victims, as well as the employees who work in this facility. We have reached out to the families and are providing counseling and support to employees during this difficult time.”
