Tideworks Netherlands buys Sonu Software
Tideworks Netherlands BV, a provider of technology for marine terminal operations, has acquired Sonu Software Solutions, a provider of software and related services to marine terminals in Europe.
Sonu's applications, 'especially for conventional cargo and warehousing ' will strengthen our presence in the Americas and Europe,' said Mike Schwank, president of Tideworks Netherlands, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tideworks Technology Inc.
Based in Rotterdam, Sonu offers two fully-integrated 'WISE' product lines. One includes applications for managing bulk, break-bulk and Ro-Ro cargo terminals; warehousing with inventory control and tracing functions; container freight station operations and forwarding. The other WISE line of software offers container terminal and depot functions for moderate-sized operators, as well as container trading and leasing.
